St. George Events
We are building a list of all the St. George’s Day events that will take place throughout England this year. Parades, family activities and other things to do will all be listed here. Please support these events so they become an annual celebration.

Details: The bunting is already decorating the town centre, creating a festive atmosphere in preparation for the event that takes place between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, April 26 2025.
The event in Market Place offers plenty of free entertainment and activities for the whole family including:
Tom the Tale Teller (10am, 11am, noon performances)
Bakanalia Morris dancers (10.30am and 11.30am performances)
Stilt walking St George and Snappy Dragon throughout the day
Knights and Princesses Trail — pick up a map and answer sheet (between 10am and 1pm) from the council’s gazebo in Market Place, return to collect a treat
Children's crafts supplied and ran by the United Reformed Church
