St. George Events
We are building a list of all the St. George’s Day events that will take place throughout England this year. Parades, family activities and other things to do will all be listed here. Please support these events so they become an annual celebration.

Details: St George's Day will be celebrated in Northampton on Saturday, 20th April, from 11 am to 2 pm. Celebrations start at 11 am with the raising of the St George's flag.
Throughout the day, crafty kids can create their own peg dragon and turreted castle out of recycled materials in the Guildhall Courtyard, with help from nature-based workshop company The Wild Tribe, who will be accompanied by a storyteller telling the story of St George's Day tale with a twist at 12 pm and 1.30 pm!
Juggling Jim will run his Silly Knight School until 12.30 pm, where kids can try challenges to become knights of the castle. This will be followed by Circus Workshops from 12.30 – 2 pm, teaching juggling and balancing skills.
The Rose and Castle Morris Dancers will perform on the Guildhall steps from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., entertaining crowds with centuries-old, traditional routines. There will also be a chance to meet St George and a giant dragon puppet.
Finally, as part of the St George's Day celebrations, visitors can follow the Notable Northamptonians trail, to discover more about remarkable residents who have contributed to Northampton's cultural heritage from the past to the present day.
