St. George Events
We are building a list of all the St. George’s Day events that will take place throughout England this year. Parades, family activities and other things to do will all be listed here. Please support these events so they become an annual celebration.

Details: The Black Knights will again take on Saint George as they battle in Stone’s Market Square on Saturday, the 20th of April.
Stone Town Council will be hosting a free Saint George’s Day family event in Stone Town Centre.
The event will start with a parade down the High Street to Market Square at 12:30pm, led by Saint George, which children are invited to join. Children wishing to join the parade with the knights are asked to meet at 12:20pm around the back of the Stone Town Council building on Station Road.
After the parade, the Black Knights will fight Saint George and his men in front of the assembled crowd in the market square. This event is always well-attended, so get there early for front-row spots!
There will be an opportunity to experience the weapons and talk to the knights about them, and a children’s medieval fancy dress competition themed on knights, damsels and dragons, with a £25 gift voucher prize for the best fancy dress.
In addition to the event, the usual town market will be at the upper end of the High Street.
